CONSULAR SERVICES

Kenyan nationals have access to the following Consular Services:-

1. Processing of applications for New Kenya Passport, renewals and issuing of Emergency Certificates and Certificates of identity.

3. Registration of births and deaths of Kenyans, in the region.
4. Issuing of Licences for Importation of pets to Kenya, on behalf of the Director of Veterinary Services.
5. Legalization and certification of documents.
6. Giving of information on matters concerning marriage in Kenya.
7. Issuing of visas to prospective visitors to Kenya.

CERTIFICATE OF IDENTITY (C.I.N.)

Maximum period of a C.I.N. is two years (see sample). Issued to children under seven years, and, in rare cases to adults.

1. Complete Form PP.2 and submit:-
2. Three recent photographs - 1 by 1.5".
3. Parents’ passport in which child’s name was previously endorsed.
4. Proof of father’s nationality, if child is born outside Kenya.
5. 24 euros, payable in cash, if applying at the Embassy, or by Money Order, if applying by post.

APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF NO IMPENDIMENT TO MARRIAGE

Requirements

1. Certified copy of passport
2. Certified copy of FIANCÉ or FIANCEÉ's passport.
3. Certified copy of birth certificate.
4. Ksh 5000/360 L.E.
